Note to Taxpayers: for your information, regarding your January 2014 Town & County Tax Bill, the tax bill shows a % of levy change from last year to this year at 3.6%. This is not over the 2% tax cap. The town tax levy we budgeted is $3,019,553.80(what we will collect and keep)yet it shows on our tax bill $3,063,381.00. That is because of the county charge backs in the amount of $43,827.20 that we collect but goes to the county.  The tax cap for NY State was 1.66% for 2014 and we did not exceed this threshold.  Under the links you will find info for the budget calculation-2014 Budget Calculation Info.
